Business was booming. I was focused, driven, and fully locked in on growth.
I told myself I was doing it for my family. And in some ways, I was.
But then my wife said something I’ll never forget:
“You’d never treat a client the way you treat me.”
That one line wrecked me.
It forced me to face a hard truth: I was showing up as my best self at work and giving the leftovers at home.
It took me too long to admit it. Too long to change. But eventually, I did.
I started a journey to rediscover joy. Not just in business, but in life. For me, it began with faith. Then I got to work.
My boys were getting older. Life was moving fast. I didn’t want to just build a business, I wanted to build a legacy.
